A Few Days Off

 

For three days I didn’t hike. My friends Rick and Nancy from Scott Valley have come here for a vacation:). That means a car. Together we went back and visited San Sebastián and sand art, and that city again, then Guernica and a visit to the Museum of Peace there and learned of Hitler’s horrific bombing of that city in 1937, then finally to Bilbao and the impressive Guggenheim Museum there. 

All three of those were cities I had hiked through, but now I had the chance to spend more time there:). 

I’m now headed back to Pobeña, where my hike paused, and getting back on the trail:).
